Why Hire a Wedding Coordinator
This list is not all inclusive just overview of some important duties for a coordinator
Be available for MOB & Bride in ceremony planning
Make sure Officiate is confirmed and has all necessary information
Produce actual rehearsal and ceremony sitting assignments
Introduction to bridal party and give last minute instructions or information
Assist Family with personal items, questions, and help them off to rehearsal dinner
Collect Personal items to take to reception site (guest book, table numbers, etc)
Greet vendors and oversee set up
Coordinate Bride and Groom in addition to picture activities [not seeing each other]
Pin flowers/corsages for Bridal Party
Set out guest book, pictures, bridal items, etc. as planned by MOB and Bride
Instruct ushers and/or greeters on Guest book, restrooms, cell phones, pictures, etc.
Orchestrate the entire ceremony and remain on schedule
Set out place cards (as pre-determined) and table numbers if required
Make sure tables are set correctly for décor and number of place settings
Coordinate private moment for Bride/Groom upon arrival with a light snack
Coordinate reception activities with bridal party, photographer, band, videographer
Keep vendors and family on schedule with wedding agenda
Notify band of any announcements that need to be made
Ensure luggage, wedding gifts, cards, personal items are packed into the right car and/or appropriate hotel suite
Make sure bride/groom have their Caterer goody basket
Distribute final payments/gratuities in sealed marked envelopes
Be responsible for expensive items such as toasting flutes, etc.
Make sure cake topper does not get thrown away
Make sure any extra cake does not get thrown away
Make sure that Bride/Groom and families enjoy the reception as if they were also a guest.
Make sure Bride/Groom have anything they need
